Fort Missoula was established as a permanent military post in 1877 and built in response to requests of local townspeople and settlers for protection in the event of conflict with western Montana Indian tribes.  An "Open Fort" with extremely reasonable entrance fees, located directly behind the FairBridge Inn & Suites - Missoula, will provide great history and entertainment for the family. 

Located within walking distance out the back of the hotel.  A beautiful 18-hole golf course with deep bunkers and fabulous mountain views.  Golf the 7 other equally beautiful golf courses located in Missoula.

Only 8 miles from the FairBridge - Missoula to Lolo, Traveler's Rest State Park is a drive up scenic Highway 12.  This park is a resting place for the Lewis & Clark 33 member expedition party.  Explore Lewis & Clark history, hiking trails, fishing spots, and much more!

Montana Snowbowl is an alpine ski area located 12 miles northwest of Missoula, Montana with 2600 vertical feet and 950 acres of skiing terrain!  Great summer mountain biking and huckleberry picking.
